The Darke County Board of Developmental Disabilities is committed to protecting your privacy. This 10DLC Privacy Notice (“Notice”),(collectively “Darke DD”, “us”, “we”, “our”) explains our privacy practices concerning the use of 10DLC (10-Digit Long Code) numbers to send and receive text messages and provides information on how and why we use these numbers to communicate with you.
USE OF 10DLC NUMBERS
When you consent to receive text messages from us via 10DLC, we may collect certain information including your phone number, message content, and any other information you provide during our communications.
OPT-IN PROCEDURES
Currently, the only method for opting in to receive text messages is by our team asking for your consent directly. We do not use automated systems for this purpose. Your consent will be recorded at the time of agreement, ensuring that all text messages you receive from us are based on your explicit permission.
PURPOSE OF DATA USE
The information collected through 10DLC messaging will be used for the following purposes:
- Sending you updates, notifications, and messages personally generated by our team.
- Responding to your inquiries and providing customer support.

OPT-OUT
You have the right to opt out of receiving text messages from us at any time. To opt out, reply “STOP” to any message you receive, or contact our customer support team. Once you opt out, you will no longer receive text messages from our 10DLC numbers.

THIRD-PARTY SHARING
We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your personal information. If you opt-in for text messaging, your information is not shared with any third parties.
